Mushroom on Toast Points

Serves 6-8


  • 6 tbsp. buttter
  • 1 1/2 pound Maitake mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • Buttered toast, cut into quarters
  • Chopped chives and parsley
  • Crisp bacon (6-8 slices), chopped


Melt butter in large skillet, add mushrooms and saute over medium heat. Stir and mix mushrooms until lightly browned. Be careful not to overcook. Add salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Serve on toast points with chopped herbs and bacon
